Faith Mission Camp

Kevin and Janice Evans 
Conan & Julana Arndt

Kevin and Janice Evans have served at Faith Mission Bible Camp for over 14 years. They have a love and enthusiasm for Jesus and the Gospel. Their children’s and youth camps are always full as they touch many young lives throughout the summer and even winter months.

Conan and Julana Arndt work with the Evans in providing help at Camps plus Kids Club, Youth Group, hot lunches at Falkland Elementary School, and the church plant at Falkland, B.C.

Please pray:  

  • For a third family to join the team at Faith Mission Falkland; for strength and energy and health for Kevin and Janice, Julana and Conan, and all the volunteers and staff required to minister during the Camps.

  • For finances for the ongoing expansions and buildings needed to continue ministry well.

  • For a new tin roof for the Lodge.

North Okanagan Community Chaplaincy

Chuck Harper serves as Chaplain with the North Okanagan Community Chaplaincy, ministering to the homeless and street people. He leads the Street Church each Sunday at the Salvation Army (currently in the parking lot with many volunteers) which, provides hot meals, drinks and a gospel filled church service.  He provides spiritual ministry and counsel to this part of our community, including funeral rites for the deceased. GBC helps with the meal and service once a year.

Pray for Chuck and the Street Church. Pray for financial support and for wisdom and discernment in sharing the Lord’s love with those He brings across the path of these ministers.

Samaritans Purse

God is using simple shoebox gifts packed in Canada to change lives for eternity. Operation Christmas Child is equipping local churches in over 100 countries to share the gospel and distribute shoebox gifts at child-friendly events. Every shoebox packed is an opportunity to reach a child with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Grace Bible Church has a church-wide shoebox campaign in October and November, including a youth shoebox packing party. We also host a shoebox collection centre during the third week of November at the church.
