Grace Bible Church offers Sunday school for ages 2 through 12 every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. The children begin with their own Children’s Church where they participate in singing, prayer, Bible memorization, an offering time, skits, and games.

After the children’s service, held in our portable at the back of our church, children are escorted to their classrooms by their teacher.

Our Sunday school curriculum is Gospel Light which is Bible based and focuses on helping children know Jesus as their Saviour. Each class includes a time of teaching, application, and questions and answers. The younger children are also treated to a puppet show, crafts, and snack time, as well as games and free play.

At Grace, we believe that children are a vital part of our church family and are committed to investing in the next generation so that they may grow in their knowledge of Jesus Christ and the Bible.  As teachers, we also believe it is our job to support the faith building that is going on in each child’s home.  In other words, Sunday school at Grace is intended to be an enhancement of the foundation of faith laid in the home by the parents. Newcomers are always welcome to any of the classes.

In terms of safety procedures, we have a list of registered, first-aid members that are on call every service. We also have the ‘Safety and Risk Management’ program in place which is a standardized church safety and protocol training program for any adult wishing to work with the children. This ensures that we have the proper safety procedures in place for every class and that there is a certified supervisor in each classroom as well as having the proper volunteer-to-student ratio.

Every preschool child is to be signed in and out by their parent/guardian at the beginning and end of every service. Every child is given a name tag with a corresponding number, by which the parent can be contacted in the service if their child needs them.
