Larry Woelke

Larry has pastored 2 churches over the past 20 years.  Prior to pastoral ministry he was self employed as a building contractor.   Larry's call to ministry came later in life after being actively involved in 3 different church planting situations.  He has been  blessed with a wonderful wife (Eunice) and four children that are married and living for the Lord. Eunice and Larry have 12 grandchildren, 10 of them live in Vernon.

Associate Pastor
Greg Sumner

Pastor Greg Sumner has been in ministry for 22 years.  Prior to that he was in a family business for ten years, and with an oil company in marketing before that.  Prior to being called to Grace Bible Church in April of 2010, Greg was an Associate pastor for 8 years on Vancouver island.

Greg and Colleen, who have been married for 38 years, have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren.

Greg and Colleen love to minister together in visitation and Colleen loves to minister with women and children.

Worship Ministries
Julene Ponipal

Julene Ponipal is serving in Worship Ministries at Grace.  She has more than 19 years of music experience as a piano teacher and worship leader.   Garry and Julene and their four school-aged children moved from Grande Prairie, Alberta in 2005.  Before joining the staff at Grace in the fall of 2008, Julene worked as a professional organizer and color consultant for private clients and building contractors.

As a couple, Garry and Julene love to meet and connect with people.   Julene enjoys studying the Bible and speaking to groups of women.

Administrative Assistant 
Pam Watson

Pam is serving at Grace as: Secretary, Website design/upkeep, pianist and vocalist on a worship team.  Her greatest desire is to use all the talents and abilities the Lord has given her for His glory.

Pam was the former secretary from Cornerstone Bible Church, prior to the Mennonite Church of Vernon and Cornerstone joining in 2008, and has recently come back to continue serving this particular body of Christ.

Pam has two sons, 11 and 19 years old.
